About Andy Laycock

The landscape's changing light, hues and shades have fascinated me since I was young. I strive for my paintings to come alive through focussing on changing light and shadows. Using a mixed medium of pastel & acrylic, I work in layers exploring variations of colour and texture.



My studio is based amongst the hills in Kinrosshire.  With a keen interest in nature and  a desire to explore I often run the hills of Scotland, seeing and creating images as I travel.
